9th Sonic Rainboom (Audio/Action for Cianwood)

(Rainbow Dash has gone through many obstacles, and taken on most challenges other ponies might fear to tread. But nopony, save for her friends, would ever embark upon the triumph Rainbow had done mere days ago:

Taken on two Gym Leaders. Back-to-back.

...Not really, but it sure felt like it! With exclusive video footage shot by Daring, Rainbow Dash made sure the entire Network was witness to her awesomeness! She took down Cianwood's Gym with just. One. Pokemon! (Her Espeon.) Then, upon gaining the fabled Fly HM for herself -dramatic pause while she squees at personal goal being accomplished!- she took a quick trip back to Olivine for one night and early the next morning, showcased her coolness! With the combined efforts of Lightning, Tails and Blaze, each one of Jasmine's crew were no match for Team Dash's radicalness!

Now that Rainbow's returned to Cianwood, as well as her friends, she's content to celebrate her three Badges Ponyville style!)

(Loud snoring is heard as Rainbow's relaxing with her four Pokemon huddled around her, also resting but it seems that Rainbow's thumb turned on the 'Gear for a few precious moments before unconsciously throwing it with her hand! Good thing for Dash, Daring was awake and alert enough to grab the device before it smashed into the wall with her vines. She apologizes loudly to anyone who may have heard her trainer snoring before turning off the 'Gear. The Grass type plans to -eventually- wake her trainer up even knowing what she has planned. Daring doesn't 100% approve, but like Rainbow she's fiercely loyal to her trainer.)

Uh, you must've heard somepony else make those 'dulcet' tones or whatever 'cause I don't snore!

(A beat, and she blinks in confusion.) Hey, what clothes are you talking about? Where can you design stuff on the wagon anyway?

...Rainbow Dash. I may have been in my own tent that one time we went camping, but I could still hear you. Trust me on this one. You snore.

I'm outside, I just... needed the fresh air! I'm starting with quill and ink until I can get my hooves- er, hands on some fabric.

(And that's when Rainbow sticks her head out of one of the windows where, sure enough, she recognizes Rarity's hair fairly easy.)

...We went camping together? When was this?

I could always talk with Twilight about taking you by Goldenrod or some other city for a day or two; I need to face Whitney for her badge after all.

[ Rarity's leaning up against a nearby tree, sketching in a notepad she's acquired. She looks up when Rainbow peeks her head out of the wagon. ]

Quite recently. Twilight tells me there's some sort of time displacement here. Not that I understood all of it, but from what I could gather, not everything I've done has happened to you yet.

That does sound nice. I've got so many ideas and no way to execute them. Who is this Whitney character?

(Rainbow grins lightly, not too surprised she would've gone to Twilight to figure out what was going on and why everypony wasn't from the exact same time, so to speak.)

Ha, yeah! She did tell me what's going on up to...Discord reforming though, 'cause I kept asking what was gonna happen to me.

(She lightly frowns and raises her eyebrows in confusion and slight annoyance.)

...Not sure, but besides being the Gym Leader for Goldenrod both Fluttershy and Twilight said she reminds them of me. I gotta know for myself!

Well, if she's just like you then she must be level-headed and rational. [ She makes a show of thinking. ] If Twilight's only told you up to Discord's reformation, that means you don't know what color your mane's been dyed at the time I'm from.

Gaaaahhh! (Rainbow worriedly grabs her hair and looks at the multicolored locks for a moment or two.) You can't be serious! I'd never dye my mane in anytime; it couldn't look cool anymore for my adoring fans...

[ She can't keep a straight face. She can't do it. Before Rainbow's gotten too far in her musings, Rarity's laughing hard in a very undignified manner, choking back tears. ]

(And Rainbow blinks repeatedly at Rarity before frowning at her. This was 'cause of the whole Crystal Empire thing, wasn't it...?)

Haha, funny. I didn't get my mane dyed, did I?

No, dear, it's just as dazzlingly prismatic as ever. [ She dabs at the corner of her eyes with a handkerchief. ] You have missed things, but the biggest one didn't have to do with you, anyway.

(You know how Rainbow was inside of the wagon? Zip, and she's run outside and is up close to Rarity with an excited, curious expression.)

Really? What did I miss? I told you how much Twilight said, right? The last thing she remembers is Discord being reformed so whatever else went down...it's Pinkie Pie, isn't it?

Wait, don't tell me: she dyed her mane green, put on white facepaint, turned her lips red and became a traveling circus pony!

[ HI RAINBOW YOU'RE IN RARITY'S FACE. Rarity backs up a little against the tree. ] Well, no. Unless that's happened since I've left. Quite the opposite, actually. Twilight's a princess now, and with the most spectacular wings, too!

...Haha! Twilight's got wings? That's so AWESOME~! A new flying buddy, which means I'll get to show off even more of my awesomeness.

[ She rolls her eyes. ] Yes, you two should get along spectacularly in the air. She is royalty now, Dash. She probably has lots of princessial duties to attend to, as well.

(Cue confident grin while slinging an arm around Rarity's shoulder for a half-hug.) C'mon, Rarity - just 'cause she's a Princess now shouldn't change anything; she's still Twilight and our friend, right?

[ She smiles back at Rainbow Dash and returns the hug. ] Of course not! You should have heard the magnificent speech she gave. No, I don't expect her to leave us behind. But we must be prepared to support her in whatever new responsibilities she might have, as well. There's a time for play, and a time for work!

Exactly, and I'm pretty sure I'll hear her speech when I go back to Ponyville for a while! (Twilight did mention the side effects of returning, even for a short time...? Her attention does turn to the designs Rarity's trying to work on.) Oh yeah, you said you were working on stuff; clothes for our Pokemon? Daring could use something to go with her hat...

Yes, though my reserves are a little short at the moment. I'd love to go into Goldenrod and get some fabric, but in the meantime I'll just have to improvise. Could I see this hat of his?

(A beat, and she plucks a Pokeball and tosses it to reveal Daring, with hat on head that resembles Daring Do's.) You mean this hat of hers, but sure!

What a fascinating choice! She's like a little adventurer! [ Rarity gets up and walks around the Meganium. ] Hmm. I wouldn't want to spoil that beautiful flower. Perhaps a cloak, or a safari outfit. What do you think?

Haha, you should've seen her as a Chikorita -always curious about everything, wanting to go on some adventure! Why not both, one for different times of the weather?

(As for Daring, she tilts her head for a moment as Rarity walks around her, rearing back on her hind legs after a moment and goes to hug Body Slam the pony.)

Eh, the cloak can work for now; it's not as cold as it used to be.

(Rainbow laughs while pulling Daring off and helping Rarity up.)

Hahaha, she's just saying that she likes you and thinks of you as a friend Rarity!

{ Rarity dusts herself off and tries to regain her dignity with limited success. ] She's almost as bad as Princess Luna. [ Wait, what is she saying? ] Not to speak badly of royalty, of course! [ Rarity glances instinctively at the sky even though Luna's obviously not nearby. ]

Well, in any case, I'll see what I can do. I won't be making her a suit of armor anytime soon, though. I think she does quite enough damage as it is.
