2nd Sonic Rainboom (Video)

bestofthebest(As the PokeGear clicks on, unbeknownst to the trainer who wields it, Rainbow Dash has kinda gotten used to her body and use of her legs by now and despite the coldness of the day - but not up early in the morning; this is Dash we're talking about - she doesn't totally mind dealing with the weather while trekking to Violet, eager to meet up with her friends.
The girl had stopped briefly in Cherrygrove Monday afternoon for a night's rest and some much-needed items, like some potions to tend to her Pokemon if they got hurt, food for herself since it would take a week before she saw another city and a little more Pokemon food. Yes, potions as well as regular and Pokemon food. The girl does think ahead sometimes. (She also bought a pair of shades to show off her 'coolness' during future Gym battles.)
What was already with her, as in what she'd found in the backpack was the usual essentials a new trainer needed and an extra set of clothes: a jacket, pants, fingerless gloves and a hat. (Rainbow uses the jacket to hide her chest, as per Twilight's request.)
Before getting back on the path, Dash has currently taken up jogging as a way to test out her feet and legs on how fast she is; at the same time, she's trying to perform daring feats of unpredictable skill against nearby trees that she shouldn't have yet as evidenced by the way she wobbles every now and then to try and maintain her balance.
As she tries another fantastic, not-really-planned move she glances down to notice Blaze holding up the 'Gear and suddenly trips before crashing to the ground with a scream.)
...Blaze! Who said you could turn on my 'Gear like that? (She sighs before tugging it from Blaze's hands.)
Sorry about that; obviously Blaze felt like playing and turned it on, eheh. Oh, as long as I'm on...Twilight! I looked at that list and figured out which 5 I like best, but I already know what I'm gonna get.

I mean, the most obvious answer is a Water-type, since you'd get lots of coverage that way, and Water can take out Rock and Ground, which Fire's weak to. But you could also go for a Rock type, or a Grass Type, which could take out Water as well as Rock and Ground, so... There are a lot of options. Which one did you decide on?

Anyway, after discussing it with Blaze I realized who to pick. I decided to get the turtle Pokemon!

And I decided to get another with just a little bit of money~! I got some stuff before leaving Cherrygrove, and it shouldn't be too long before I get to Violet. Maybe another 3-4 days...?
(She should be there sometime Tuesday unless Twi's actually gotten the Fly HM.)

[... Twilight, it's because Pikachu (and Pichu, and Raichu) is adorable, and Magnemite and its evolutions are floating magnets with giant eyeballs. Well, except Magnezone, which is a miniature spaceship with giant eyeballs. Either way, not cute.]
