15th Sonic Rainboom (Video/Action for Ecruteak)

(Rainbow Dash appears on the 'Gear in a slightly annoyed mood. Sure, she woke up to the happy cheers of her team -which included Blaze, Tank and Daring as the Grass type had resumed her filming duties- but upon finding out what her friends tried to do for her WHILE she was out...

For Celestia's sake, she wasn't possessed or anything weird like that! Rainbow just had a super-freaky dream which ended with her getting a black & orange colored bag with her name on it! Nothing else too serious happened, right?)

...I usually like Nightmare Night, or whatever holiday you guys call it 'cause that's the best time of the year for pranks but I didn't even get to pull ONE prank the entire day!

(The reason being is that Rainbow had to get past some weird, eerie feelings of what occurred and that took quite a few hours which meant she wasn't eager for setting up pranks.)

At least I got something nice for Scales, and a few other cool things for my 'Mons.

(Rainbow's referring to the special item in said black & orange bag that, after giving some thought to the matter, she chose to give it to MIssus Scales, her Milotic.)

I didn't have nightmares, although...[she looks around her environment.] I traveled over to Goldenrod to get some new things and got caught up in the ghost swarm. There were tons of Ghost Pokemon around, a lot of people stayed inside for that time and I've been staying here since. I think it's died down now.

[A beat.]

Eheh..."died down"...[oh god that was awful.]

So, instead of sticking around Ecruteak witn Twilight and the rest you went down to Goldenrod for some things; I can see that since Goldenrod's got cooler items and a store...we should be sticking around for a while until I get better...

(A beat, and she blinks.)

...'Died down?' (Another beat, and she laughs.) That's a good one, Maka! Glad you didn't become a walking mummy! (That was probably worse.)

Eheh, yeah, it was pretty stupid of me to do. [But Maka isn't exactly known for thinking in long terms.]

I've been thinking I should stay here and you guys can go on without me. There's...somebody here that's [mumble mumble "kind of important to me"] and his birthday is coming up soon sooo...

[Oh god it sounds like she's ditching them before it even begins.]

I--I'll still be sure to come over to Kanto and watch your gym challenges! With my Pidgeot, I'd be over there in no time. It's just that he's traveling alone and he wouldn't ask for company, but he's a friend and friends don't deserve to be alone on their birthdays.

[...Then an idea strikes.]

Speaking of holidays...I have a present in mind for him already, but when Christmas comes around...I'll need your autograph. He's a huge fan of you.

Hehehe, I've been known to do some stupid stuff too...! (Just ask Applejack; she's probably got a LIST -from Twilight- about the stupid stuff Rainbow's pulled!

Her ears twitch a bit, and it's too bad for Maka that Rainbow already has a friend who speaks really quiet so she's used to people mumbling stuff like that.) ...Oh. They're that important to you, huh? Is it somepony I know, 'cause if they hurt you or anything...!

(She can totally tell it's sappy stuff, but being blunt about it? Definitely her style, but she'll wait a little more. Plus, she knows Maka can look out for herself; she's just being a protective, loyal friend!)

I expect to see you at everyone of my Gym battles, then...! If I have to, I'll race back there -or wherever you go- on my Dragonite or Rapidash to get you. But, yeah...no one deserves to be alone on their birthday.

(She blinks, and she can't help but grin. She's got a fan, in a great, big world like Johto?!)

Really? Sweet! I'll send you two then, just so you can have one to remind you of my awesomeness when I'm not having a Gym battle!

Oh...reminds you of your dad? Ha, I totally get it! I'd be like that too if mine showed up outta the blue. (Not saying it out loud, but that's a huge relief to Rainbow.)

You bet! And hey, at least we hung out before that whole coma thing left me asleep. Promise, next time we meet up I'll make sure to stay awake.

(She doesn't want their entire talk to be about business, non-adventures together and whatnot.) How are your Pokemon doing? Daring, Blaze and Tank are doing better since that weird stuff!

Said one of her other friends might need her a little more than us, and that he reminds her of her dad. She'll still meet up with us for our Kanto Gym battles, though.

Well...yeah, she finished the Gyms here but Maka totally wouldn't mind watching us beat the last 2 Gym Leaders! If it wasn't for her friend she'd be going with us.

(Either way, Rainbow stretches and nods. She's eager to get out of Ecruteak asap, determined to get past this weirdness while they traveled.)

Eh, I didn't move any of my stuff from the wagon when we loaded it up so if we're ready to go I say onto Mahogany!

[She grins brightly at that response.] Great! I'll talk to AJ, Cadence and Spike and we'll start packing up as soon as we can. Hopefully we can start journeying again by tomorrow. At the very most I give it three days so we can get supplies.
