14th Sonic Rainboom (Video/Backdated to 9/11/Action for Ponies)

(The video clicks on to show the skies zooming by really fast, and Rainbow Dash is in the center of the screen, holding onto a VERY fast Dragonite as she flies through the sky at near-record breaking speeds with some of her other Flying types behind her: mostly Charizard and Aerodactyl.)

...So, bad news and worst news in the span of one weekend. Not only did Rarity end up going back home, but before I could wake up on my own, PINKIE PIE ends up going back without a word too! Is it just me or does Johto have a thing against us Mane Six being here all together at once?

Anyway! The only good thing about this is that I gathered all of Pinkie's Pokeballs, picked out some of my best flyers -who can carry a ton of stuff- and we're gonna go get Spike outta Goldenrod! When we talked yesterday he said something about having to get all of Rarity's stuff together, and knowing her...this is gonna take us more than one trip. Not to mention we still gotta go pick up Maka at Olivine or whatever city she said she was going to.

Wonder if I can ask Twilight if she can let me use some of her Flying Pokemon to help get Rarity's stuff...oh! There it is! (The feed ends with Dragonite getting closer to Goldenrod, and after that...it's wherever Twilight's at! Possibly Ecruteak or beyond, since she never discussed recent plans with her #1 most Loyal Pegasus.)

[Spike has been busy busy busy trying to cram all of Rarity's stuff into her bags neatly and without breaking anything, and carrying them downstairs to put in a big pile in the courtyard, like Rainbow Dash asked. Who knows if Rarity will be back, but he wants to make sure that she's got everything she needs just in case. He even had to go and buy MORE bags from the department store. But he's not that busy that he doesn't hear Rainbow Dash's feed, and he runs over to pick up his gear.]

Wait, Pinkie's gone too?!? Just like Rarity did?

[It was bad enough that Rarity had just disappeared...and now Pinkie. A horrible feeling at the pit of Spike's stomach was starting to form. What if all the others went back too, and he was left here all alone? He physically shakes his head, trying not to think about that.]

I think I have everything ready to go, but that's a really big pile of stuff. I don't think the innkeeper is too happy. How far away are you?

[Spike's had time to gather all his and Rarity's pokemon into pokeballs, except Pinchy, who seems to think he can fly the whole way to Ecruteak no problem. He's scanning the skies, looking for Rainbow Dash.]

Yeah...Pinkie's gone, too. You know I wouldn't leave her behind for any reason! (Element of Loyalty and whatnot.

Duh, of course the innkeeper wouldn't be that happy; Rarity probably had a ton of stuff all over one room! I'm almost at Goldenrod now, Spike. Where are you at anyway?

(Whether or not Pinchy hears the loud roar of a Dragonite, a Charizard and an Aerodactyl shouldn't be relevant. What should be understood is that they've more or less reached the outskirts of the city itself and are moments away.

Or, at least Dragonite is.)

[Spike can barely believe that both ponies have just disappeared so soon after each other, and desperately hoped that they both made it back to Ponyville okay. At least they'd be back there with Fluttershy.]

Well...I guess that's true. But I gave him all the bits...uh...pokedollars...to pay for it all. Were we really here for that long?

[Spike flinches as he hears the Dragonite's roar, and scans the skies. It takes a second but he's able to see the large pokemon coming closer and closer. He shoulders his backpack and waves his free hand at Rainbow Dash.]

I see you! Down here! In the courtyard area in front of the inn!

[Pinchy has also spotted the Dragonite, and is lazily flying towards it, not getting too close, but close enough to observe.]

(Rainbow's not even gonna try asking why he used all the pokedollars. Once she sees Spike, she grins and waves back before Spitfire slows down enough to make a proper landing; she grunts at Pinchy mid-descent.)

Hahaha, good thing the Pokemon Center's real close to the inn, huh? Twilight said we could borrow one of her Pokemon to help with Rarity's stuff.

(A moment or two later, a Charizard and Aerodactyl roar loudly in the air and both land near Spitfire as well.)

Okay, ready to get Rarity's stuff to Twilight? Most of it, at least...!

[Spike coughs as the dust settles from Spitfire's landing, rubbing his eyes. Pinchy comes lazily spiraling down to perch on the roof of the Pokemon Centre.]

Rainbow Dash!

[Unexpectedly, Spike runs over to her and hugs her tightly. The past 24 hours alone have been pretty hard for him, and seeing a familiar face was what he needed right now. He sniff a little, and then straightens his shoulders, trying to put on a brave front.]

Yeah. It's all here.

[He looks over at the three large pokemon dubiously.]

Do you think they'll be able to carry it all? Rarity did have a lot of stuff....

Hey! 'Sup, Spike?

(Rainbow's totally gonna accept the hug, needing a familiar face right now too. She closes her eyes briefly and sniffles a bit, also putting on a brave front.)

Great! Hmm...we gotta separate the big stuff from the small stuff.

(She tosses a couple more Pokeballs up, and her Pidgeot and Rapidash pop out.)

Shouldn't take long, right?

[Spike doesn't feel so bad when he realises that Rainbow Dash is also pretty upset, but pretends not to notice, knowing how she'd just laugh it off if he mentioned it.]

Okay, that shouldn't be too hard. Most of the smaller stuff is on the top. [He gestures to the smaller bags on top of the larger suitcases. There were also a lot of hat bags. A lot.]

[Spike remembers that Rarity also has a Pidgeot, and digs out her pokeball, releasing her.]

Hey Fight. Do you think you could help us carry some of Rarity's stuff to Ecruteak? It's a pretty long way, so tell me if you can't...

[Fight chirps, flapping her wings as if to prove that she can do it easily, and Spike grins. At least he still has a little bit of Rarity here, in the form of her pokemon.]

Okay, so at that's one more pair of...well...claws.

[Spike starts to move the smaller things to one side.]

Sweet! Soarin' try and find a rainbow-colored bag on top!

(Rainbow's hopes are realized as her Pidgeot chirps an approving response and points it out, so she grabs it and places it on her shoulder. She'll look inside later; they're really busy right now.)

Hmm...if Twilight was here she'd say we give three small bags to our smaller flyers, Dash here can carry some medium-sized bags and the bigger ones go to our big flyers here.

[Spike surveyed the bags. Even with all the help, they'd probably be pretty laden down. Rainbow Dash was right. How in Equestria Rarity had developed a mobile boutique with all this was beyond him.]

Okay, that sounds like a good plan. I made a checklist of all the bags here, so that we don't miss any.

[He pulls his notebook out of his back pocket, and ticks off the rainbow bag. Twilight would be proud of her Number One assistant's foresight.]

How is Dash going to get to Ecruteak? Aren't you worried about leaving her on her own?

[He's begun to carry some of the hat boxes over to Fight to carry in her claws.]

(Rainbow stares at the checklist for a brief moment before shrugging and giving a few more of the hat boxes to Soarin'. Probably a good thing in the long run.)

I'm not leaving Dash alone; I'm gonna have Spitfire fly real low so she'll be able to see us! Plus it's a great chance to see which one is the fastest.

(Rainbow moves to place some of the medium-sized bags on Dash's back, and as her flames aren't even hot enough to burn the bags themselves are safe.)
